The Wonders of Alice
Alice came into my life in February of 2017, just 26 days after she was born. I will never forget the day her mom and dad walked into the studio beaming with joy when they spoke of their little miracle. They had very little notice that Alice would be coming into their lives but they had waited so long for the call.
Adoption was something I knew very little about until I met Alice’s mommy and daddy. During our many sessions throughout Alice’s first year I would learn more and more about the process. A process that can be very long and full of ups and downs.
On May 30, 2018 Alice’s adoption was official and by that point Alice and her parents were practically family to me. It was wonderful to celebrate with all the family and friends whose hearts Alice has stolen that first year.
It has been amazing to watch Alice grow from newborn to toddler and to capture all the many milestones in-between. She is truly an amazing little miracle that this photographer couldn’t imagine life without.
